This holiday season, I ask you to join me in supporting Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, an organization I care deeply about. For the past 30 years, Trauma Recovery/HAP has been dedicated to increasing the capacity for effective treatment of psychological trauma in underserved communities throughout the world. This work inspires me every day. I’ve seen firsthand how Trauma Recovery/HAP builds capacity, trains local clinicians, and adapts trauma care to meet the cultural and linguistic needs of diverse communities. Their commitment to equity-centered healing is why I’m committed to helping them continue this work for another 30 years.
