Please join us in congratulating Jill Strunk our 2020 Trainer of the Year!
About Jill:
Jill Strunk, Ed.D., L.P. is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Minnesota with over thirty years of experience. Prior to getting her doctorate in Psychology, she was a High School English teacher for 25 years.
Her EMDR Basic Training was in 1996. She is an EMDR Institute and Trauma Recovery/HAP Facilitator and an EMDRIA Consultant.
She completed her Training-of-Trainers for Trauma Recovery/HAP in 1998 and has presented trainings throughout the country. She was facilitating for an EMDR Institute Basic Training, when Deany Laliotis suggested that she become part of the Training-of-Trainers cohort she was organizing. It felt like an incredible opportunity to help people who really deserve it.
Fun facts about Jill:
-She grew up in South Dakota in a log cabin without electricity or plumbing until eighth grade and my high school graduating class was 70 people.
-She is the only one of five siblings that ever lived outside of South Dakota. She shared, "So, I don’t have to sky dive to feel like I’m taking a risk and having an adventure."
